DESCRIPTION

It’s completely normal to crave food, particularly sugar and carbohydrates, in the days before and whilst on your period. There are a variety of reasons this might happen, but the key factors seem to be serotonin production and the fluctuations in hormonal levels of oestrogen and progesterone. So, whilst there is absolutely no judgement here, if you do want to try and lessen those cravings in a less sugar-coated way, we’ve made Crave, a 7-day sachet supplement just for you. Each sachet contains 2 unique capsules designed by experts just for this product, containing natural derivatives such as cinnamon bark, mulberry lead and bitter melon, as well as a host of vitamins and minerals including zinc which contributes to normal macronutrient and carbohydrate metabolism, and B6 which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

FAQS

What is Crave for?

If, when your period hits, all you want is for someone to make you a chocodonuticeake (that’s a chocolate bar inside a donut covered in ice cream and somehow baked inside a cake) then it’s possible Crave is the product for you. Whilst some food cravings can be emotionally led, there are those which are simply due to changes in metabolism and the way the body processes macronutrients during your period.

But shouldn’t I be allowed to eat all the chocolate I want on my period?

Absolutely, and we will defend your right to do so till the bitter, chocolatey end. Crave is just to help if you want to change that habit.

Will this completely end all craving for sugar or carbs?

Unlikely. But it might help lessen them. And until we’ve worked out how to encapsulate willpower, that bit is on you still.

Can Crave help with pregnancy-related cravings?

Probably not. We can’t say for sure, but we haven’t yet seen convincing research that would support this idea.

What does ‘7-day sachet’ mean?

Inside each carton of Crave are seven sachets. Each sachet contains the same two capsules. You take one sachet (all of its contents) per day, usually from the first day of your period (but if you find starting earlier works better for you then go for it).

Why sachets, why not just make a multivitamin?

Crave is a precise mix of several natural extracts and powders, and a single capsule filled with these ingredients simply wasn’t enough. This way we can give you the necessary quantity of these ingredients in a convenient sachet.

Do I need to take both capsules in the sachet at once?

You can space them out if you find this is more comfortable for you, but we do recommend taking them together.

What if I have trouble swallowing vitamins?

The good news is that the supplements in each sachet are capsules. This means you could open them up and pour out the powder into a yogurt or smoothie and get all the same benefits with none of the drama.

Is Crave suitable for vegans or vegetarians?

Happily, Crave is suitable for both vegan and vegetarians, and has been certified as such by the Vegetarian Society.

Are there any allergens in Crave?

Of the 14 major allergens recognised in the UK, none are present in Crave.

Can I use Crave if I’m using contraception or pain relief?

There are no contraindications for contraceptives or pain relief medication and the ingredients in Crave. If, however, you’re concerned then you can always check with your GP or pharmacist.

Can I combine Crave with other Soov products?

Yes! Crave was designed to help with a particular period symptom, but we recommend pairing this with Flow as your daily to take throughout the month to help keep this balanced. And of course, if you have other symptoms on your period, you can mix and match with our other Soov sachets. If you’re worried it’s all a bit too much, you can contact us and we’ll help guide you.
